Can it solve a system of two equations?

Yes - enter both equations on one line separated by a comma (e.g. "x + y = 7, x + 2y = 11") or on separate lines, and it solves for x and y using Cramer's Rule, showing the determinant and both intermediate determinants (Dₓ and Dᵧ) along the way.

Can it solve quadratic equations with no real solution?

Yes. When the discriminant is negative, the solver correctly reports the two complex conjugate roots (in a + bi form) instead of failing or forcing a real-number answer that doesn't exist.

What trigonometry problems can it handle?

Numeric evaluation of sin, cos, and tan for any angle, the inverse trig functions (arcsin, arccos, arctan), and equations built around the common unit-circle angles (0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, and their standard multiples).

Can it find derivatives and integrals?

Yes, for polynomial expressions in x: type "d/dx x³ + 2x" for a derivative or "∫ x² dx" for an indefinite integral, and it applies the power rule to every term and shows each one worked out, including the constant of integration.

What kinds of problems aren't supported yet?

Chain rule, product rule, and quotient rule calculus; trig, exponential, and logarithmic derivatives/integrals; general (non-textbook) limits; equations with more than one variable outside a 2x2 system; and multi-step algebraic simplification beyond a single equation. The solver says so honestly rather than guessing when a problem falls outside these bounds.

How is this different from the individual calculators listed below?

The calculators below each handle one problem type through a structured form (enter a, b, c for a quadratic, for example). This solver reads a plain-text problem, works out which of those calculators applies, and runs it automatically - useful when you'd rather type the equation as written than pick the matching calculator yourself.
